Madison and I made her first snowman the other day. She was in heaven. She also crawled all over the snow like a puppy dog. She never asked to go inside but didn't protest when I finally suggested it. I think it was in the low 20s....
Claire went home January 1st. What a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! She is doing great :) I think I shed a tear everyday when I read their blog. I am so happy for them!
My second cousin T.J. passed away the other day from H1N1 complications. So very very sad. He was just a few years older then me, recently married, Step Father to 5 kids, and has one on the way. He also just graduated from college last month. My prayers go out to his wonderful family.
Needless to say, I got my H1N1 shot today. Then I decided it would be fun to watch "My Sister's Keeper" tonight. Boy was I wrong. I probably shouldn't even be blogging right now.
On a happier note....Madison amazes us every day by how smart she is! She already knows her colors, Princesses, and Seven Dwarfs. Now she is trying hard to master the alphabet, number 1-10, and shapes. She is doing amazingly well. She watched me get my shot today and was so concerned about me all day. She kept wanting to make sure I was "happy" and "all better!" She also enjoyed mimicking the noise I made when I felt the medicine being pushed in :) It is rather amusing! She also wanted me to take apart a toy today that doesn't come apart. After I told her I couldn't, she grabbed her toy phone and called Grammy to come and fix it! I actually called Grammy so she could tell her herself. Grammy passed the phone to Alissa and Madison talked and talked to her. She cried after hanging up with "Issa" and told me she "wants her" and she needs Issa to "come"! It is so hard to be completely surrounded by friends and family and then all of the sudden back by ourselves. Luckily, Jason has three day weekends so we get to go places and do fun things. Thanks everyone who kept us busy over Christmas vacation! We love and miss you!
Since I don't have a new pic of my princess I'll post one from a senior session I just shot.

I wish you were still here so you could take pics when our baby comes!
Cortney I am glad Claire is doing better still praying for her and the family.I am sorry about your cousin, I got Katilyn the shot b/c I was so scared she would get it and pass away and I sure couldnt handle that. I watched My sisters keeper and thought the same thing. I cried for days afer watching it.
