Jason has been begging to go ice fishing. I made a deal with him that he can have a day off whenever he wants as long as I get one too. He decided he wanted to go fishing on Saturday so he gave me Friday. Not having a lot of options I decided to drive to Missoula to shop and go to a movie. I took Shasta along so I could drop her off at the groomers. I punched in PetsMart on my GPS and not realizing there were two, I picked the wrong one. Luckily, I was only 10 minutes late for Shasta's appointment. The groomer had to literally drag Shasta from me because Shasta didn't want to go! After that I hurried over to Target to pick up a treat and a Dt. Dr. Pepper (I know, I know! But it was my day and I was all by myself... so I deserved one!). Jason called just as I was pulling into the theater parking lot and put a hysterical Madison on the phone. By this point I felt like crap and was reconsidering this whole do whatever I want day. I was about to go in the theater but decided to shut the car door again just to make sure it was shut all the way. As I was slamming the door shut, the corner of it caught me under the chin. Needless to say, I got back in the car and sat there for a few more minutes. I finally made it inside the movie and was disappointed to find that the chairs in there were almost as uncomfortable as the one in the tiny theater where we live.

My weekend in a nutshell....
All I can say is I LOVED Leap Year!!! I don't care what the reviews say, that movie made my day a whole lot better! After the movie I ran back to Target and and had a bit of good luck. I was looking at the tricycles and I found a Barbie Volkswagen Beetle (the one that kids can actually get in and drive) on clearance for $29.99! It is made for a child as young as 1 1/2 and only goes 2.5mph. I bought it, ran over to Coldstone for a dinner of Peanut Butter Cup Perfection, picked up Shasta, and drove home. Total Time: 8 HOURS! I will have to try and rethink my day off next time :)
