Reminiscing about the holidays and savoring my last sip of Dt. Dr Pepper...

We had a Merry Christmas! We stayed at my mom's house and got to see my whole family. Madison had so much fun playing with everyone and couldn't wait to open MORE presents!! I got the best presents of all: a kitty (Belle), ipod touch, and a shark pocket steam mop! How sad is it that I was sooo excited to open my shark?! I must be getting old :) The only thing missing this Christmas was my beautiful Willow Tree Nativity. We don't have anywhere in our house to set it up and we spent the majority of the holiday season at my mom's house. Madison was in Princess Heaven with her Belle, Snow White, and Ariel. Jason lucked out with a meat smoker and got a couple new hats so I can finally toss his old ones! :) We had a wonderful Prime Rib dinner with my family (even my Grandma and Grandpa came over). Madison was pretty upset about leaving but the new toy house she found at home as kept her pretty occupied! We are grateful to have a holiday where we can celebrate the Savior and spend time with loved ones even if we do get sidetracked by all of the commercialism.

Tonight we are watching Dick Clark's Countdown and I'm going over my New Year's resolutions:

1. No Soda ...... still not sure how committed I am to this one :)

2. Watch less TV...Play more games instead (buying a new game at target tomorrow!)

3. Workout more (Okay, so I should put "workout at all".... what happened to me?)

There are others but I won't bore you. I plan to be a little more specific with my goals so hopefully I can keep them.
