Slightly confused or just really smart?

Lately Madison has been using the word "scared" a lot! Sometimes she wants us to go away so she can hide then jump out and scare us when we come back. Other times when she doesn't want to do something she says she is scared. For instance, today at the grocery store Jason tried to pick her up and carry her and she said "Noooo Daddy! I'm scared!" Or tonight when he tried to change her diaper...."no no Daddy, I'm scared! I'm scared!" We thought she wasn't grasping the meaning of the word but now I'm starting to wonder if it is just her new tactic for getting out of doing things! :)

Tonight at dinner she said "triangle, square, shapes". I showed her the lid to my water bottle and she said "circle"! What a smart little girl! She loves to practice shapes, numbers, and the letters! We are so proud of her. :)

What a smart little cookie! I think kids are generally smarter ( and more manipulative) than most people give them credit for! Camri loves to "scare" daddy when he comes home from school, and she'll hide from me and jump out and scare me. It must be the age... she is super cute and smart though, for sure!
