Last week I had the fabulous opportunity of attending After Dark Education. The workshop was held at the Hilton in Charlotte, NC. I always have a good time at After Dark but this time I had a friend with me which made it extra fun! My friend, Ashley Clawson, drove from Richmond, VA to attend and was my roomie. Not only did I get to spend a week immersed in photography but I finally got some girl time! Thanks Ash. This time around was also extra fabulous because I got to meet some of my FAVORITE photographers! Julie Klaasmeyer, Beth Forester, Lane Crabtree....just to name a few. Another one of the perks was playing with Design Revolutions Props! Okay, enough about the workshop....
At home, Madison struggled with Mommy gone. When Maddie struggles, Jason struggles. :( Knowing my loves were having a hard time made being gone a little harder on me too. I do have to say that without Jason, Grandma Judy, and my fabulous friends out here, pitching in and helping with Madison, I would never have been able to attend. Thanks everyone!!
I came home Thursday and was locked out of my house. Madison and I waited outside for an hour and a half until my friend Tawnya rescued us and let us in! That night we cleaned, washed, and repacked for the Heintz family reunion. All in all it was a fabulous 4 days!

So. Much. Fun!! I had a blast with you out there! Thanks so much for your help, and patience, too. I'm so glad we were able to go together. I'm sorry it was so hard on Maddy and Jason, and that it was so crazy when you got home. I hope you can get some rest and relax now! Great pictures, as always. Luv ya!
