Somebody please pinch me! It is 7:30pm and my baby is asleep! The last two weeks have went a little something like this:
8:30am-9:30am Madison wakes up
1pm try to put her down....sometimes she poops, sometimes she just cries
2pm realize she poops, get her up, change her, fight w/her to go back to sleep
2pm-4pm if I'm lucky she takes a LATE nap
8pm try to put her down
9pm realize she poops, get her up, change her, fight w/her to go back to sleep
10pm if I'm lucky she falls asleep, sometimes she poops again....
As well as the fabulous schedule above she has started potty training again. Four days ago I realized she wasn't pooping during the day because she was constipated and it hurt!!! Needless to say this was seriously affecting her potty training. Out came the Miralax.... Day three of the miralax (yesterday) she still hadn't gone and kept telling me her bum and tummy hurt. I called in for backup-glycerine suppositories. She had a major explosion shortly after and we called it good. Put her to bed and heaved a sigh of relief. Hahaha Went to check on her later and yep, she had filled her diaper again. See schedule above :)
Today I put her down for her nap. After a while I heard her saying poo poo and decided to check on her. She pooped in her diaper so she decided to take it off. After she took it off and got poop on her sheets, she then peed in her crib. In her defense, she had been yelling that she needed to use the potty. I cleaned her up, cleaned the crib up, and put her back in the crib. Once again I decided to check on her after the crying continued. Give you one guess..... She completely filled her diaper. This time though, she listened to my plea to keep her diaper on! Goodbye nap time :( She was so tired that she completely crashed when I put her in her crib tonight at 7:30!
On a brighter note, she peed in her potty ALL day today! Hallelujah!!!
I'm pretty sure Jason is embarrassed by all of my potty blogging but right now poop seems to be my life. Tonight I plan I restoring order to my home and going to bed! Wish me luck...

Good luck to you!! I don't like potty training but the end result is so worth it!! Parker just went through a 3 week episode of major diarrhea. No joking or exaggerating......15 to 20 diapers a day. It was totally insane and I am so glad it is over. I literally changed a diaper at least once an hour if not more. It made for some really long nights and some even worse diaper rash. Hang in there.....it can only get better!!
Being little is so hard! Poor girl and poor mommy!!! Just keep on keep'n on!!!!! ur doing a great job mommy!
Jason might be emberassed but I've been loving your posts lately--they've been cracking me up! I'm not laughing at you or your stress...maybe it's just nervous laughter for what lies ahead with Ava...not so funny anymore.
Isn't it great how so many moms can relate when the subject is around poop!!!
As bad as potty training is, just be glad you have a girl. Boys are SO much worse!! Hang in there! Just think of the money you'll be saving soon from not buying diapers.
