Dinner and a Movie Heintz Style.....

Maddy talks all the time! For those of you without a 23 month old this might not seem like much but I am so impressed with her communication skills!!! For instance:

Tonight I asked Madison if she wanted another graham cracker. "No Mama, I want a hotdog," she said. I told her to hang on and I'd cook one for her. "No Mama, I'll just eat it cold," she replied.

or

I told her not to touch something. With a sly smile she touched it with her knuckles and said "just knuckles Mama". Fine.....

Can I tell you how nice it is to be able to completely understand what my child wants?!?!

Last night we stayed at a hotel with a waterslide. Madison had soooooo much fun! She keep asking to go down it by herself! Our child has no fear. :) Before bed I recited "Little Miss Muffet" and Madison loved it. She wanted me to say it again, then her, and last Jason. Jason's version went like this:

Little Miss Muffet

Sat on a Tuffet

Eating her curds and whey

Along came a spider

And sat down beside her

And pooped

And scared little Miss Muffet away!

Needless to say, she LOVED it!! Later she asked for "Itsy Bitsy Spider". I started to sing it and Madison stopped me. "No, poo poo spider!" she cried. "Little Miss Muffet........." Jason said.
