Update on Maddy Moo...

Sorry my posts have been so few and far between. We have a dinosaur computer which is on the floor in our storage room that is always subzero! We also haven't had a whole lot to share lately.

Last Tuesday we hired a babysitter for the first time! She was fabulous!! Madison still tells me how "pretty" and "cute" Whitney is! She tells me she was "fun", "plays" and wants her to "come" back! Yea! The only downside is that she lives 15 minutes away and charges $7hr. Oh well, totally worth it! The same day we had a sitter Madison started to get a runny nose. The next three morning she woke up at 5am with a slight fever. The runny nose slowed down but chest congestion flared up. We hear it mainly when she is active or sleeps but it is always there. Today I bought a Vick's Humidifier and she is currently sleeping like a baby! :) I think she passed a little of her cold on to me and I'm considering sleeping on her floor tonight so I can benefit from our new humidifier too!

Anyway, I wanted to post a little about what is new with Madison. Our little angel is talking like crazy. I don't think there is a word she can't say. She absorbs everything we say. Everyday she points out something or uses a word correctly that I can't even remember saying around her! Jason decided to start teaching her colors a few weeks ago. Some of the ones she now knows are: pink, purple, yellow, red, blue, green, brown, orange, and white. First I was extremely amazed but now I'm slightly frustrated.....she only wants purple popsicles and pink cups :) You get the idea.... She loves animals and we are working on Daddy to get us a kitty for Christmas. She LOVES Disney princesses! Stuffed dogs and cats, books, Shrek, Dora, Curious George, and Handy Manny. She loves being outside, slides, swings, dirt, and leaves. She finally has a few friends here and wants to play with them all day every day. She gives tons of hugs and kisses and tells us we are "pretty" all the time. She tells me the food I make is "good" and always is sure to tell me she is "happy" or having "fun". We love our little pookie!
