Our little pumpkin is almost a year old and has never been sick minus a few ear infections that have left us with some sleepless nights. Starting Tuesday night Madison stopped sleeping through the night and she got a runny nose. She has had only one tooth for a couple months now and I just assumed she was teething. Thursday morning she threw up so I took her to the doctor. The doctor checked her out and told me it was another ear infection! We started her on antibiotics and luckily that night she slept because I was on the bathroom floor with the stomach flu. Later the next day I felt a lot better which was good because that night she threw up again. The following day (Saturday) she threw up around 3pm but then perked up, drank about 5 oz of pedialyte, and had some rice and apple sauce. She went down finally at about 11 pm, I put her in our bed sometime in the middle of the night and she woke up around 9 am smiling and playing. We gave her a sip of Gatorade and everything from the night before came up all over our bed. After that she looked awful! Oh, and did I mention she has a goopy eye?! We waited 'til Justin got here then we took her to the ER. The fabulous pediatric doctor told us she was okay. He said it was the mucous that was making her throw up and to continue doing what we were doing. Since our visit she has regained some color and has some of her cute personality back. She is currently snoozing and I pray she will be back to her old self soon. Oh ya....Jason left for the airport as soon as we got back from the hospital! I will keep you updated on our little trooper.

Oh my goodness, poor Madison!
I know how helpless you feel when your little ones get sick. The first time Max got sick, I put him in a warm bath with the Purple Lavender baby soap and he just loved it. He stayed in there forever and he was so relaxed.
Poor baby girl, I wish we could do something to help.
There is nothing worse than a child throwing up!! They don't understand what they are feeling and why, and it just comes at any time all over everything...it is so sad to see them...I hope Madison gets better soon =(
oh, I am so sorry. That is no fun at all. I am glad she is okay though and will get over it soon, hopefully. It is so hard to take care of a sick child though when you are sick. Hope you guys survive Jason being gone as well. Good luck.
I am sorry! if you need anything let me know!
