Tagged...

My cousin Britian tagged me and asked me to post pictures from out my front and back doors of my home.

Here you go Britain...

Right after she tagged me I checked out her blog to see her pics and I was slightly jealous. She has a beautiful home with a fabulous pool in a wonderful neighborhood. Later that evening I had a girls night out with my friends and someone brought up the subject of how lucky we are to be living in such large apartments. I am very lucky to be living here right now and I definitely do not go without anything a need. I do however dream of being able to sneak away from my baby's crib without the floor creaking so loud it wakes her up or laying in bed and not having to listen to my neighbors music or people out front talking. I didn't realize how many things I've had to learn to adapt to in this apartment until I brought Madison to UT when she was six weeks old. My mom's house was the right temperature, did not creak when I walked, and didn't have a million stairs to run up and down every time I needed something (although I have to contribute some of my weight loss to the stairs!). I couldn't hear the neighbors (or smell their smoke!), I wasn't woken by the maintenance man, and I definitely didn't find her doormat cut up by the groundskeeper mowing the lawn!!! I felt like I was staying in a five star hotel!

I am following my cousins lead and I am tagging people in different parts of the country. I'm tagging Katrina in Ohio, Katie in UT, and Chandice in AZ. I can't wait to see your pictures!

I can't believe how similar my front door view in dental school was to yours (our backdoor had a view to a dirty alley). I have been getting a little home sick for Columbus; it was such a great time for us. We lived in a complex that had about twenty dental/med/law students and their stay at home wives (there were only about fifty units in the whole complex). Nobody could even take out the trash without at least four other families knowing it, and I loved living there. I do realize that most of my friends have moved away now, so that makes it bearable. But man, really enjoy your last year there. Thanks for sharing the pics.
